President Mahama Announces First Ministerial Nominations for Approval

President Mahama has submitted his first ministerial nominations to Parliament, naming Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson (Finance), John Jinapor (Energy), and Dr. Dominic Ayine (Attorney-General) as key appointees to drive his administration’s agenda for economic recovery and governance reform.

President John Dramani Mahama has submitted his first set of ministerial nominations to Parliament, as required by Article 78 of the 1992 Constitution. The list includes three prominent figures, each with extensive experience and qualifications in their respective fields, poised to drive the government’s agenda.

The nominees are as follows:

Dr. Ayine is a highly respected legal scholar and practitioner with over 30 years of experience. He is a former Deputy Attorney-General and founder of Ayine & Partners Law Offices.
